Gerardina Tesauro

Gerardina Tesauro was born in the province of Salerno, Italy. She began her artistic career at the age of fourteen in her city. She moved to Brazil in 2008, studying jazz style and the Brazilian singing technique, bossa samba, at the Musical Cultural Center of Sao Paulo. During the years spent in Brazil, she deepens the studies of the repertoire, the Portuguese idiocy, and traditional dances of samba jazz and chorus. This intense study of the Brasilian music fuels the need to work on a personal project—from which the record work O REAL, the name of the record and its unpublished work takes place. Gerardina o Gerry has collaborated with the great Brasilian guitarist Robertinho De Paula, the pianist Roger Lent, and another great guitarist Paul Myers.
